Australia's biggest phone group Telstra Corp posted a modest rise in first-quarter sales, buoyed by mobile and internet revenue, but warned it needed to keep a close eye on costs to maintain margins.
Telstra, set to be fully privatised in 2006 in a A$30 billion state sell-off, said mobile and broadband remained growth drivers.
