Monumental. 2006 was a year of change for the industry and Vodafone. With the unbundling of the local loop the shape of the industry is changing rapidly.

The acquisition of ihug was a huge buzz for Vodafone, our staff and the market.

None really, the year went as expected.

You will continue to see Vodafone deliver innovative services using our 3G network as we look at ways to meet our customers' total telecommunications needs.
What will be the major challenges for Vodafone?
The major challenge for the team at Vodafone is to meet the expectations of our customers and remain focused on their needs, in an industry that is bombarded with changes from all directions - competition, technology and regulation.

I expect the economy to be similar to what we have experienced this year.

To a bach on the Coromandel. A great place to relax, swim, fish and enjoy the kids.
