Ihug counts uploads

Ihug is moving to count customers' upload data against their monthly allowances, as of July 1.

The company, which resells Telecom's broadband service, said it had been the only provider in New Zealand to give customers free upload data.

The change is being made because Telecom is now enforcing an average aggregate data limit per customer, ihug said.
