Telecommunications firm Cabletalk today posted a March year net profit of $2.3 million, up on last year's $1.8m surplus.
The result came on total revenue of $41.1m, against $54.6m a year ago, Cabletalk said in a statement to NZX.
It would pay a fully imputed dividend of 3c per share on July 28.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation were $4.1m, up 47.3 per cent on the 2003/04 year's $2.8m.
Chairman Ross Keenan said the result was an excellent one in terms of earnings growth.
"The company is now well placed with a spread of earnings across key service areas emphasising rapid response call centre-based technology servicing operations," he said in the statement.
Cabletalk will hold its annual meeting in Auckland on July 26.
Shortly after 11am, Cabletalk shares were up 3c at 70c.
