KEY POINTS:
Telecom might have to drop the price it charges rivals for access to its high-speed internet service after the Commerce Commission said it would re-examine the charges.
In October, the commission said Telecom should charge rivals $27.77 to access its so-called bitstream service, but ihug and CallPlus said the price was too high for them to make a profit selling the service to their own subscribers.
The commission said it would reconsider the pricing.
