KEY POINTS:
Telecom customers on the 025 network have only 25 days from today to switch to another mobile service.
Telecom Head of Consumer Marketing Kevin Bowler said: "we're pulling out all stops to make sure all remaining 025 customers are aware of the need to move to 027.
"We're concerned that people who still have a 025 phone understand that it will not work after 6pm on Saturday 31 March. This is particularly important for those who keep a 025 phone for emergencies."
Telecom announced it was closing the network 025 network in early 2004, giving customers three years to switch to its 027 network or another provider.
At Telecom's half year result in February there were only approximately 20,000 customers left on the 025 network.
"The majority of customers still on 025 are prepaid and use their phones infrequently," Mr Bowler said.
