KEY POINTS:
Provenco Group subsidiary Vantex Technology Distribution has secured distributor rights to IBM retail hardware in Australia.
Vantex, the largest distributor of point-of-sale equipment in the Asia-Pacific region, produces more than 50 per cent of Provenco's turnover.
The equipment includes IBM-branded touch screen terminals, point-of-sale terminals, printers and kiosks. Vantex already has exclusive distribution rights for IBM retail hardware in New Zealand.
