Trading in Warehouse shares halted pending announcement

Retailer The Warehouse today asked for a halt to trading of its shares on the New Zealand Exchange.

NZX said in a statement that the halt was effective immediately, pending an announcement from the company "which is expected shortly".

Shares in The Warehouse last traded at $5.11, down 3c.
