Torpedo7 has sold Shotgun Supplements to discount supplement retailer NZ Muscle for an undisclosed amount.
From today, all business assets and its e-commerce store are owned by and will be renamed to NZ Muscle Supplements.
Torpedo7 group chief executive Tim Edwards said Shotgun Supplements no longer fitted the outdoor equipment retailer's brand proposition.
He said the retailer, owned by The Warehouse Group, wanted to focus on the expansion of its Torpedo7 stores. It will open eight new stores this year.
"Torpedo7 will continue to sell nutrition products that align with our outdoor customer base and which have a good fit with the growing the Topedo7 business," Edwards said.
