Randomly selected Aucklanders have received deliveries from The Warehouse in under two hours as a part of test.
The budget retailer has been trialling two-hour delivery in Auckland for the past two weeks and hopes to take the service nationwide.
"For now, we are looking at Auckland but as we learn more about customer needs we will continue to explore opportunities to provide the service in other cities" said chief information technology officer Timothy Kasbe.
"We are continually striving to introduce technology that makes our customers' lives easier and, based on data, we believe an urgent delivery service will meet an increasing need," Kasbe said.
The retailer is using electric vans for the deliveries which are charged at various stations around Auckland, including several Warehouse sites.
