Fourteen Sounds music stores and all seven Blockbuster video stores have reopened, as the voluntary administrators try to sell the business as a going concern.
Icon Digital Entertainment, which operates the Sounds music chain, went into voluntary administration last week owing creditors almost $20 million.
Administrators BDO Spicers said they had reopened the stores on Saturday.
