Christchurch retailer Smiths City Group yesterday reported an April year net profit of $5.4 million compared with $8.7 million a year earlier, which had been boosted by a tax credit of $3.6 million.
Pre-tax profit rose 0.4 per cent to $5.2 million on operating revenue of $243 million. On a same stores basis, revenue increased 0.5 per cent.
