Transtasman supermarket giant Woolworths said yesterday half-year sales at its New Zealand grocery chain Progressive Enterprises were up 4.3 per cent over the same time last year.
Woolworths, which now owns the Countdown, Woolworths and Foodtown chains, also posted an 18.4 per cent increase in half-year sales to A$19 billion ($21.15 billion) across all its businesses.
