Clothing retailer Kathmandu will cut up to 10 percent of its head office staff as it reviews its structure following disappointing financial results.
Chief executive Xavier Simonet said the company would be looking at all areas of the business in the review.
The move is also one of the first made my Simonet as chief executive of the outdoor clothing and gear retailer, having taken up the role just over a month ago.
Kathmandu is currently subject to a hostile takeover attempt from retailer Briscoe Group.
"I am confident the outcome of the review will enable us to continue to invest in our growth strategies and deliver improved results for our shareholders," Simonet said.
