Domino's Pizza Enterprises, Australia's biggest pizza maker, acquired the Alvolo and Al Capone's chains in Europe for an undisclosed amount, increasing its network in the region by 15 per cent.
Domino's, which makes 60 million pizzas a year, is expanding its European business six-fold to 1000 outlets within 10 years after acquiring brand rights in France, Belgium, Monaco and the Netherlands from Michigan-based Domino's Pizza, the No 2 US chain.
