You are just as likely to find Domino's New Zealand general manager Scott Bush in one of the 75 nationwide stores cutting pizza or delivering food than in his head office in Mt Eden.
On a weekend night, if you are getting Domino's delivered in Auckland, there is a chance that Bush will be the one dropping off your pizza.
Bush started at Domino's in Australia in 2003 and when asked what he wanted to do in the company told the franchisee owner he wanted to start as a delivery driver.
Bush had high aspirations to rise through the ranks at Domino's but wanted to experience all aspects of the company including taking orders, making and delivering pizza.
"How can I be expected to be telling people what to do or being a manager, if I don't know what it's like to work in every aspect of the business?" he said.
