US regulators on Friday froze a brokerage account in the name of a 63-year-old Croatian woman, Sonja Anticevic, and alleged the $US2 million ($2.93m) in it was from insider trading in Reebok International share options ahead of the company's deal with Adidas-Salomon.
Officials said they had not been able to contact her.
When Reuters contacted a woman of the same name, age, and address, she said: "I don't know what the stock exchange is about. I never traded with any shares here in Croatia or elsewhere."
