Beauty junkies in Auckland will be pleased to hear global beauty chain Mecca Maxima will open in the CBD next month.
Mecca Maxima has stores in Christchurch and Wellington, and announced it will open at 191 Queen St on August 3.
The opening will be popular with Auckland makeup fans. People queued on the street overnight before Mecca Maxima opened in Wellington in April.
Mecca founder Jo Horgan said the upper North Island would be getting more stores in the future.
"New Zealand, you have embraced us with open arms. I have been nothing but humbled by your response to Mecca Maxima and I am very much looking forward to opening more of our stores in this beautiful part of the world and delivering more of our inimitable beauty experiences to you."
