A booming property market is dragging rare finds on to the sales list - the latest the former Onehunga Post Office.
The historic building, officially listed as a Category 2 on the Heritage New Zealand list, includes a four-bedroom apartment on the top floor - and your own cafe downstairs.
Its listing follows the sales of a former fire station in Takapuna and the All Hallows Methodist Church in Campbells Bay last month.
Ray White Remuera agent Ryan Dixon, who is selling the former post office building, said he didn't know if selling unique properties had become a trend, but it was a reflection of the market.
"It is not surprising to see more unique properties come to the market due to the depth of buyers looking to purchase and vendors looking to capitalise on favourable market conditions," Mr Dixon said.
