Graeme Hart's Rank Group has boosted its stake in Carter Holt Harvey to 96.01 per cent, according to a substantial security holder (SSH) notice lodged with the stock exchange yesterday.
Rank is buying up minority shares in CHH after crossing the 90 per cent threshold which triggers compulsory acquisition just under two weeks ago.
