Jeff Todd has been tapped as chairman of fishing company Sanford, having held the position in a temporary capacity since the death of Bruce Cole earlier this month.
The appointment was announced today by managing director Eric Barratt. Cole died after a short illness.
He had been chairman since 2006 and first became a director in 1987.
Shares of Sanford were unchanged at $5.56 and have gained 18 per cent this year.
