TVNZ's top earner is getting even more this year with a six-figure boost to his pay packet.
Chief executive Kevin Kenrick earned roughly $1.2 million for the financial year, an increase of about $100,000 on his 2015 reported salary of $1.1m.
According to the company's latest annual report Kenrick's earnings included a $825,168 salary, $332,048 incentive bonus and superannuation of $57,679.55.
The state broadcaster had come under pressure from the media to disclose staff earnings, with many pundits wondering whether Mike Hosking would take the top earning spot. The state broadcaster had not previously explicitly identified what Kenrick earned.
In keeping with the pay disclosure practices followed by the country's listed companies, it had revealed only the number of employees who earned over $100,000, in salary bands of $10,000.
