SkyCity Entertainment Group has received Casino Control Authority clearance to buy a 40.5 per cent stake in Christchurch Casinos from the British casino company Aspinall.
The approval completes the regulatory requirements which were a condition of the deal.
SkyCity said it would move to complete the formalities.
