NZ House & Garden was judged consumer magazine of the year at the annual magazine awards in Auckland on Thursday night.
Judges commended NZ House & Garden for its design and presentation. They said the magazine's achievement in building up a readership of 600,000 New Zealanders had been "an extraordinary success story".
NZ House & Garden editor Kate Coughlan also won the consumer magazine category of editor of the year.
IT magazine PC World was judged business magazine of the year.
The awards, organised by the Magazine Publishers Association, were open to 122 New Zealand-based publications.
