Business Herald columnist Fran O'Sullivan has been appointed an assistant editor of the New Zealand Herald.
She will have responsibility for developing special business projects that extend the range of editorial analysis and commentary for business readers. She will also play a leading role in the Herald's focus on the development of a knowledge-based future for New Zealand.
The initiatives will draw on her extensive background in political, economic and business journalism, including the editorship of National Business Review from 1993-96.
In her previous role heading Wilson & Horton corporate relations, she initiated a range of projects including the company's involvement in Apec and the America's Cup.
Fran O'Sullivan will continue her widely read Monday column.
