New glossy NZ Life & Leisure will hit the shelves on Monday. The first issue of the magazine, edited by former House & Garden editor Kate Coughlan, leads with a story about Auckland philanthropist Christine Fernyhough, and features stories about actor Sam Neill's new venture and businessman Gary Paykel's holiday home.
Coughlan said the magazine would offer a carefully edited selection of material - "not a huge amount" - and on the instructions of its publisher, would contain no more than 35 per cent advertising.
