MySpace.com, the world's largest social networking platform, is gearing up in New Zealand.
MySpace.com, published by Fox Interactive Media, has signed APN Digital Media as its sales partner.
APN is the publisher of nzherald.co.nz.
APN Digital Media has the largest dedicated online advertising sales team in the country, selling advertising for 40 websites.
APN's commercial director, Spencer Bailey said there would now be a faster turnaround time for advertisers since bookings would be managed locally.
MySpace.com has also named New Zealand-born Julie Warmington as its New Zealand PR & marketing manager starting today.
She has previously headed up PR and marketing for top UK entertainment brands including; Channel 4, Universal Pictures, EMI, Yahoo! Music, as well as BMW and Nike.
