Murdoch at Liberty

Media tycoon Rupert Murdoch is in talks with Liberty Media about buying back the 18 per cent stake the company holds in News Corp, media reports say.

News Corp had introduced a poison pill after Liberty, controlled by cable magnate John Malone, raised its stake to 18 per cent in late 2004.
