Auckland based media research firm Vista has penned a deal with film giant 20th Century Fox.
The NZX listed company today announced Movio Media, a subsidiary of Vista, signed a 5-year agreement with the production powerhouse to license anonymous data.
Movio aggregates cinema audience data to provide research and analytics to film and marketing companies.
Vista said Fox would use Movio transactional data on, for instance, number of movie tickets purchased, day of movie session, and gross box office revenue.
Vista Group's share price rose 3.48 per cent following the announcement.
