The Herald on Sunday's readership has risen again, defying challenging market conditions.
The Herald on Sunday now has 372,000 readers overall, and continues to completely dominate its two Sunday rivals in its key distribution area - Auckland and from Taupo north.
In Auckland, the Herald on Sunday has 32,000 more readers than the Sunday Star-Times and 108,000 more than the Sunday News. In the northern readership area, the Herald on Sunday has 43,000 more readers than the Sunday Star-Times and 139,000 more than Sunday News. The Herald on Sunday's circulation has also remained relatively stable despite the recession. At 92,315, the paper is already the country's third biggest, less than five years after its launch.
