The New Zealand Herald web edition continues to dominate the country's online news industry, with more readers than the second and third-place news sites combined.
Figures from AC Nielsen NetRatings show almost 1.4 million people visited nzherald.co.nz at least once during October.
Daily visitors - including weekends - averaged 98,000 in October, with higher traffic Monday to Friday.
Very similar figures were recorded in September.
The second busiest news site during both months was stuff.co.nz and tvnz.co.nz was third.
The Herald site also rated highest among the three online news services for average visit duration.
