The New Zealand Herald's website, nzherald.co.nz, reached two major milestones in March.
For the first time, the site recorded over a million visitors during a month, with the total for March passing 1,035,916 early today.
The newspaper's online edition continues to gain readers, with daily visitor numbers currently averaging over 100,000 (Monday-Friday), according to data from internet rating agency Red Sheriff.
Also in March, the Herald site delivered more than 20 million page impressions for the first time in its five-year history.
The Herald's site has the 2nd highest number of users among all New Zealand sites rated by Red Sheriff. The top-rated site is Telecom's xtra.
