Sydney-based APN News and Media, owner of the New Zealand Herald, announced last night that it is restructuring into five divisions.
The Herald will comprise one division and its chief executive will continue to be Ken Steinke.
Phil Eustace, previously chief financial officer in New Zealand, will head a new division for print, specialist magazines and shared services. The other divisions will cover regional newspapers in Australia and New Zealand, broadcasting and outdoor advertising.
Craig Marsh, previously group executive officer in New Zealand, will be chief operating officer of the regional newspapers in New Zealand.
He will report to the divisional chief executive, Martin Simons, in Brisbane.
