SYDNEY - APN News & Media has appointed Warren Lee as chief executive of its newly formed online division.
Mr Lee has been a director at investment bankers Grant Samuel in Australia since 2000. He began his career as a solicitor, and later served as an executive at News Corporation, Ten Network and dotcom Liberty One.
APN chief executive Brendan Hopkins said the appointment of Mr Lee was part of the company's continuing development of its online media strategy in Australia and New Zealand.
The company, which owns nzherald.co.nz, has recently acquired employment website netcheck.co.nz and launched the search4.co.nz classified advertising portal in New Zealand.
