ACP Media is to publish a new food magazine, Taste, in what the company is calling its biggest launch since the debut of Next 15 years ago.
The new magazine will be edited by former Next deputy editor Suzanne Dale and will have an initial print run of 25,000, with a target circulation of 20,000 and a $5 cover price.
Full-page ads in the new glossy, which will hit the shelves on August 1, cost $5500.
Consumer titles group publisher Debra Millar said ACP Media had been researching food titles since last September and found 62 per cent of people who liked to cook were not being catered for.
