Thai steelmaker to open mill in Vietnam

Thai steel-maker Tycoons Worldwide plans to build a US$1 billion hot-rolled steel mill in central Vietnam, media reports say.

The plant, which will process five million tonnes of steel ingots annually, should start up in 2009.
