Nikon, the world's fifth-biggest digital camera maker, said yesterday its profit rose 85 per cent in the latest quarter, helped by strong demand for its advanced cameras, lenses and chip-making equipment.
Operating profit was 36.6 billion in the three months ended December 31, up from 19.8 billion a year earlier.
