Skellerup managing director Donald Stewart has resigned after 18 years in the top job.
He will remain in the role until June 30, but will continue with the company until a replacement was found.
Donald joined the Skellerup group in 1979, rising to become managing director in 1992.
The company was placed in a trading halt this morning, ahead of the material announcement.
Chairman Sir Selwyn Cushing said in a statement Donald had overseen a significant transformation in strategic direction during his tenure.
