One of New Zealand's oldest and most familiar brands is being bought.
Storage solutions company Plastic Box is buying Para Rubber, which was founded by George Skellerup in 1910.
Plastic Box CEO Vaughan Moss says the 96-year-old brand is about to have an energy boost.
He says his company's infrastructure is well established and will allow room for Para Rubber to grow.
Mr Moss hopes to increase the number of Para Rubber stores to 35 within five years.
The sale takes effect on April 3.
