New Image turns profit

New Image Group turned a $2.18 million profit in the year to June 30 from a loss of $2.83 million a year earlier.

The manufacturer of health products said revenue rose 53 per cent to $39.1 million.

The company expects to launch a long life liquid colostrum product in late 2009 and said the high New Zealand dollar and increased dairy product prices had adversely affected margins.
