Days numbered for classic rifle

"The gun that won the west" - the Winchester rifle - is to be discontinued in March, ending more than 140 years of production.

The only rifles, once carried by American pioneers, cowboys and lawmen, with the famous name will be modern, high-end models produced in Belgium, Japan and Portugal.
