A private New Zealand chemical and raw materials supplier has bought an Australian textile, leather and paper company.
Chemcolour Industries (NZ) has purchased Clariant Australian TLP from Chemcolour's Swiss part-owner, Clariant International.
"We plan to optimise manufacturing to become a leading supplier of raw materials and speciality chemical products across a wide range of industries," Chemcolour's managing director Murray Nancekivell said.
Clariant Australia TLP Division employs 35 staff at a manufacturing operation in Sydney, with marketing offices and labs in Melbourne.
Chemcolour markets more than 300 products from around the world and has its own formulating plant on Auckland's North Shore.
