Twenty-one jobs will go at pen manufacturer Bic, as the company pulls out of its Auckland manufacturing operation.
Bic has confirmed the job losses and says the closure of its plant will likely be early next year.
It will however continue with its sales, warehouse, logistics and support services.
Bic's Oceania general manager, Peter Travers, says they'll do all they can to support staff during this tough time, as well as honouring redundancy compensation commitments.
