Australian-based brewer Lion Nathan is eyeing ways to return more tax to New Zealand shareholders, the Independent Financial Review reports.
The company that quit New Zealand six years ago still has 26,000 shareholders here and has up to $90 million of tax credits it cannot use.
It is considering issuing capital notes to distribute some of the tax credits.
