The Commerce Commission has cleared the merger of the diagnostic laboratory services businesses of Wellington Pathology and Valley Diagnostic Laboratories in the Hutt Valley and the Capital and Coast District Health Board districts.
Wellington Pathology is a subsidiary of NZX-listed Abano Healthcare.
Valley Diagnostic is a subsidiary of Sonic Healthcare (NZ), a subsidiary of ASX-listed Sonic Healthcare.
