Heavyweight representatives of corporate New Zealand will front up in Hong Kong this week for the Asian investment conference run by Credit Suisse First Boston.
The local representative of CSFB, investment bank and sharebroker First NZ Capital, says more than 1000 institutional investors and 150 corporates from Asia/Pacific will attend.
The conference runs from tomorrow until Friday.
Back home, the Herald launches the "Mood of the Boardroom" report in Auckland on Thursday and listed companies have a string of special meetings of shareholders.
Those holding meetings are: Infratil (Wednesday), INL (Thursday) and Pacific Retail Group (Friday).
Infratil seeks shareholder approval for the purchase of 100 per cent of Glasgow Prestwick International Airport.
INL seeks approval for a $340 million return of capital to shareholders by way of a scheme of arrangement.
PRG wants approval for loans to British subsidiary Powerhouse and the pay packet of Powerhouse chief executive Peter Halkett.
