Hellaby Holdings' subsidiary Diesel Distributors has bought the Melbourne-based diesel parts distribution business B&E Diesel Spares for about A$1 million ($1.17 million).
The deal took effect on April 1.
DDL has had branches in Brisbane and Sydney for more than two years.
Hellaby's other investments include the Hannahs, Number 1 Shoe Warehouse and Hush Puppy chains of shoe stores.
