Ebos said in a statement the sale will be by a placement conducted by Forsyth Barr Limited to retail and institutional investors.
Trading in Ebos shares will not resume until 10am Thursday.
They last traded yesterday at $4.52, having ranged between $3.23 and $4.75 over the past 12 months.
