Amphibious boat maker, Sealegs, said it has kicked off the year with a bang, with strong interest in its boats at the London boat show last week.
Sealegs chief executive, David Mckee Wright, said the company had five firm orders for its rigid inflatable boats, and a number of strong leads.
During the show, Sealegs featured on a boating programme on UK television network, ITV, which has a viewing audience of about 1.5 million people.
Mr Mckee Wright said Sealegs was confident of doubling its UK sales this year, especially given the strong interest in the boats, despite it being the middle of winter in Europe.
Sealegs is exhibiting at the Melbourne summer boat show in February.
Shares in Sealegs last traded up a cent at 19.8c.
