Toll Holdings, the Australian operator of New Zealand's rail network and interisland ferries, has made some management changes in this country.
Subsidiary Toll NZ's chief financial officer, Austen Perrin, will finish his three-year contract next month and will be replaced by Grant Devonport.
Seamus O'Sullivan has been appointed group general manager of the Interislander ferry service, after the restructuring of the business' reporting lines.
Toll Rail's group general manager, Gary Taylor, will also leave next month to take up a senior role within a Toll subsidiary in Australia.
There is speculation in the transport industry that more closures of rail services are in the offing from Toll - including the backbone main trunk link.
